In 1966 the Plastica company was founded in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. A propensity for innovation coupled with immense specialist expertise, and the optimum fulfilment of customer requirements with consequent establishment of the status as a reliable manufacturer and supplier, soon made extension of the manufacturing facilities necessary.
In 1977 the directors took the decision to transfer the location to the new industrial park in Renningen.
Modern production plants, a purpose-designed and market-driven product range, as well as already well-developed quality awareness soon led to the establishment of Plastica as the competent partner for all trading sectors.
Increasingly stringent environmental requirements and increasing demand for sustainable products demanded the development of innovative product lines. Thus 1988 saw the opening of a second location in Düren, near to Cologne.
Shortly afterwards the first extruders were set up at the site in Düren. In recent years this manufacturing location has continued to be extended and equipped with cutting-edge machinery which enables recycled raw materials to be used, thus making a significant contribution to the protection of our environment.
Great emphasis is placed on such innovative technology, so that we are justified in claiming that as far as the sales and marketing of biologically degradable products are concerned, we hold a leading position in today's marketplace.
Over time a complete range of household aides developed from the original processing of aluminium and keep-fresh films. This was marketed across the whole of the foodstuffs trade and speciality markets.
In order to define this range via its visual presentation, the company has been trading as QUICKPACK Haushalt + Hygiene GmbH since the start of 1994. In addition to the classic retail range an all-embracing range of packaging enables the specialist wholesale and catering markets to be covered as well.
